Brett and Dona first attended Venice Bible Church in 1981 where they were discipled, trained and ordained for ministry. After many years of serving in Louisiana, Delaware, and West Virginia they returned to Venice in 2010 to continue ministering Christ as life. Brett has been married to Dona since 1976 and they have three children: Josh who is married to Lauren with two sons, Max and Jackson. Drew, who is married to Brandi with one son, Noah; and Amie who is married to Oliver and have two children Aubrie and Brooks.

Before joining the team at Coastal Community Chris served as a Children’s & Family Pastor in San Diego, Ca. Chris and Chelsea were married in 2021 before moving to Texas where Chris served as the Pastor of Children & Youth at a local church, during this time Chris and Chelsea developed a non-profit ministry which serves public schools, community groups, and churches to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to young people and families. In their free time Chris and Chelsea love spending time outdoors; you’ll find them at the beach with their dog Bart, kayaking, or hanging out with their horse, Dusty.

Jimmy Jordon was born and raised in the city of Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from Trinity Baptist College with his Bachelor of Science in Church Ministry. While in college, he served as the director of youth ministry at a local church in Jacksonville. The call to ministry came to Jimmy at a youth camp when he was in 7th grade. During his high school years, he grew in faith and developed a deeper relationship with God. It is here that Jimmy’s love for students was fostered since he was poured into as a teenager. The vision Jimmy has for youth is to grow in their relationship with God throughout middle school and high school, so they can carry that relationship throughout their lives. When Jimmy is not doing ministry, he enjoys going to the beach, fishing, watching football, spending time with his fiancée, and spending time with his friends and family.
